Who benefits from
The Willowdale Steeplechase?

The Willowdale Steeplechase is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization based in Kennett Square, PA that raises money to educate the public on stewardship of our natural resources; provide services to children with special needs and teach the next generation of large animal veterinarians through donations to The Stroud Water Research CenterQuest Therapeutic Services, Inc. and The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine New Bolton Center.

quest-ridingAll of the revenue from event ticket sales, race day parking spaces, programs or souvenirs sold at the Willowdale Steeplechase gives life to this community.

Contributions from The Willowdale Steeplechase events have helped build a state-of-the-art facility for children with special needs at Quest Therapeutic Services, Inc.

The Stroud Water Research Center has been able to further their research and education efforts to protect our fresh water systems as a result of contributions from Willowdale Steeplechase.

Funds from the Willowdale Steeplechase help The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine New Bolton Center train students and provide cutting-edge treatment for large animals that play a key role in our agriculture based state.

Other local charities also benefit from the races.

The Boy Scouts receive a donation from Willowdale Steeplechase for setting up our parking areas and a local Little League sells “Coca-Cola” products on race day.

The commissions and fees earned by these organizations are returned to the community through programs and scholarships.
